Sorry i’ve been a bit quiet on the blogging front lately, had a really busy week and it was my boyfriends birthday on Thursday so i moved in at his for a couple of nights!

On Tuesday night i went to see ‘Lord of the Dance’ in Manchester and it was absolutely fantastic. I reluctantly went along thinking it wouldn’t be the same without Michael Flatly but it was still just as good!

Last night was my best friends 21st party!

Also, this is me with my pretty much natural colouring! I pretty much hate it because i'm soo pale. I've been a fake tanner since i was 16 but lately i've got more slack with it.. mainly because its an effort and i can't be bothered with the up keep anymore! I've more into using dove summer glow lately (review coming soon) to give me a natural glow rather than a full on fake tan!

How was everyones monday?? I have to say i'm pretty glad mine is over, i'm knackered today!!

I haven't done one of these for ages... so here's todays face...

I went with a really neutral eye, i literally just washed my lid with a skin toned shadow and applied lashings of mascara and winged eyeliner.

Then on my lips i used barry m's 147. I think this is such a pretty colour but i've been neglecting this lipstick. It's a brighter colour than i normally wear which is why i kept my eyes really neutral!

New Bag + FOTD

So i popped into next with the intention of getting something for my mum and came out with a bag for myself! I just saw it and had to have it!



I've been wanting a bag slightly bigger than my current one and this fulfills that perfectly! And i know its white and totally impratical but i just love it!! It was £26... i think that's pretty reasonable!


And today's face...





Just the usual neutral eye with a pop of green underneath and neutral lips but i tried something new with my hair. I saw this on purse buzz's you tube channel and it's really simple to do! I don't usually like having my hair off my face... my fringe is almost something to hide behind! But yeah i got compliments on it so it can't have looked that bad :P

My first BBQ of the year...

So last night i went to my first BBQ of the year.... and it rained! :(


It's all good though because it did eventually stop so we still got yummy bbq food and we had a great evening!



My make-up:




I went witha pink and purple look with a big a navy blue in the crease to deepen the look. It's not usually colours i would go for but i fancied ringing the changes instead of going for the safe smokey eye.



My outfit:




I wore my trusty denim crops, a white summery top with a black waist belt and cute white peep toe wedges.


Today i spent the day enjoying the beautiful weather with my boyfriend... such a lovely day! Heres a photo of me wearing his mirrored aviators!

He suggested i bought a pair... but i think i'll give it a miss!!

Since it's been soo gorgeous and warm over here lately i went with a summery outfit. I wore a cotton tunic from zara with a waist belt and black leggings!

Last night i went out for tea at Nando's (yummy) with my boyfriend, my best friend and her boyfriend. We had a lovely evening! :)

Eyes: I used the lightest gold colour out of the sleek storm palette all over my lid and in my inner corner. Then i used the dark green shade from the same palette in the outer corner, crease and under my lower lash line. I've never tried this combination of colours before but i liked it!



Lips: I kept them really neutral and using gosh darling and a bit of natural collection lipgloss in fondant.



And the outfit...

(I apologise.. i really haven't worked out how to master these outfit photo's yet :S)

I wore a orange drape tunic top with a white vest underneath, leggings and my gladiator sandals. It wasn't all that warm outside so i layered a long black cardy over the top. It was a casual date so i kept the outfit pretty casual too :)

So i was brave today and tried the Barry M lipstick in 53 - the bright coral colour. I kept my eyes neutral so it didn't look over done! The verdict!? I really quite liked it :)
