London Haul

I got back from London on thursday and we had such a brilliant time! London is such a great city, i love it so much!

So here's what i bought (i didn't go mad, i'm soo proud of myself!!)

The gladiator sandals i got from Jane Norman to replace the ones that broke from new look. They are pretty similar but i think they are actually nicer! I'm really happy with them!

I got a cute off the shoulder striped top from H&M. From Primark i got a pair of tan flat boots for the autumn and also a cream chiffon top which is really pretty but it's long enough on me so i think that will be going back...

From accessorize i got these two pairs of cute earings. They are both simple but great for during the day.

The sleek safari palette! These palettes never fail to impress me, i love all of them and this one has a great selection of earthy colours, great for neutral looks.

Finally i got a new charm from my Thomas Sabo bracelet. It's a little key with black gems in it.

There were a few things i wanted but couldn't get so expect another small haul coming soon!!

Beauty Spree

I got my boots vouchers through the post yesterday which was an excuse for me to go and blow some money on make up! Not that i needed an excuse...


SO i got the other two barry m lipsticks i had been pining after and then a natural collection lip gloss because i loved the colour and it only cost £1.95 :)

I've been wanting to try this bronzer for ages. I hit pan on my current bronzer so thought it was the perfect chance to try it. I haven't had chance to test it out properly yet... but hopefully i'll love it!


Loreal resist and shine nail polish - 102

I've been searching for the perfect baby pink nail polish for ages and this might just be the one. It's a really pale pink with a darker pink shimmer running through it. This picture doesn't do it justice at all. It's a really delicate and pretty colour.

I also popped into superdrug to get another sleek eyeshadow palette in jewels.

I absolutely love the colours in this palette. They are totally unique to anything else i have in my collection which is the main reason i picked it up. I just think they are gorgeous and totally wearable!

While i was there i did check out the acid palette because everyones been raving about it. And yeah... they are amazing colours but i just can't see myself wearing such bright/neon colours. I think it would be one of those items that just sat in my collection not really being used.

Has anyone else tried the acid palette??

Mini Haul and Swatches

I picked up a few things yesterday - the beauty uk eyeshadow palettes and two barry m lip paints.

I'm really impressed with these palettes, they retail at £2.93 each and yeah ok they aren't the biggest shadows in the world but they are awesome! The pigmentation is brilliant and i hope you can tell from the photo's just how good they are.. especially for the price tag. It's just a bargain!!

Barry M Lip Paints

Left - 147

Right - 53

I have mixed feelings about these two. I am absolutely in love with the 147 as i thought i would be! However... the 53 i'm not so sure about. It's not a colour i normally go for and don't really know why i picked it up! I guess i wanted to try something different. I just think it's a bit bright and because i'm soo pale i don't think it works with my complexion. It might look good with a tan though!? I really am trying to make it work for me... i'll keep you updated!

They are both the usual drying consitency that most of the other lip paints are but i've come to expect this from barry m lip paints and solve it by teaming it with a really good lip balm!

Next... i want the 100 and the 146! :)
